Hi FIEGians,

  After achieving considerable success in the recent past, FIEG is organizing its next event. FIEG invites you for the next networking event on December 02nd. Marty Kellerwho is Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's Director, Office of Small Business Advocate in the Governor's Office of Planning & Research, Sacramento will be coming from state capital to talk to FIEG members. Marty would be talking about "what the state can do to help small businesses engage with the emerging global economy, and will elaborate on specific state programs that exist to help small businesses fight the current recession". Marty will also talk about the stimulus plan of the federal government and ' what is in there for the entrepreneur'.

   We also have Dr. Shantanu Mitra an expert speaker on chip business for the occasion. Dr. Mitra VP Marketing, Aeluros, holds Ph.D. degree in Materials Science from University of Texas at Austin. He has published more than 20 academic articles, several articles in the trade press, and holds one patent. He will be tracking the trajectory of the semi conductor industry and identify the forces at play in this industry for consolidation, transitions, etc. His focus is on trying to get in front of these transitions and identify the trends that could be taken advantage of by the entrepreneurs.
